Crumpler Rampaging Mob Backpack Review
Rampaging Mob may not be the first thing you would name a backpack but Crumpler has always delivered top of the line bags with rather playful names.
With the Rampaging Mob, Crumpler has gone big: 25 liters large to be exact, all contained in a durable package made up of water resistant materials that features hooded external zippers. If you’re like me who lugs around lots of gear and stuff, it was like the Rampaging Mob was made for us. I usually go out of town and i usually bring a laptop, my DSLR, my Nintendo DS, probably a tablet plus clothes so i love that i can carry those in just one bag.
Don’t let the size and available storage space fool you, this is one lightweight and durable bag. But if you need space on the go, check out these compartments:
- an Internal padded sleeve for 17-inch laptop with velcro fastening cover
- Internal A4 document/magazine pouch
- Internal velcro-sealed stash pocket with zippered side access
- Dual internal stuff pockets
- Vertical opening zippered side pocket for 1,000ml water bottle
You also have a padded main compartment to store clothes, books and other belongings. Comfort and Safety are also priorities with features such as an ergonomic harness with chest belt that distributes weight evenly across your shoulders, and a neoprene neck collar that helps prevent chaffing. You also have ultra bright reflective strips on the front and harness straps that are visible at night. So thoughtful, eh?
Also, Don’t worry about getting worked up and perspiring as the rear of the bag and underside of its harness both feature Air Mesh padding, while the rear venting system keeps fresh air circulating between the bag and your back. Did i mention that i love this backpack?
Spacious and Durable, The Rampaging Mob also carries Crumpler’s famous lifetime guarantee. It is a bit pricey at Php 7,450 even by Crumpler standards but as they say you do get what you pay for. Highly recommended!
The Rampaging Mob backpack is available at Crumpler stores found in Bonifacio High Street, SM Megamall, Trinoma and Robinsons Manila.
