Third Rail iPhone 4/4S Battery Case Review
We got our hands on another iPhone 4/4S battery and case combo from Third Rail and based on our initial impressions, I think it is one of the better all in one battery/case solutions in the market.
The Third Rail package comes with the Slim Case, a 1250 mAh Smart Battery, and extra USB cable to charge other devices (!) using the Smart Battery. We tested the Slim Case on one of our iPhones and loved the way it fit around the phone. According to one co-worker, he prefers using his iPhone with the added length and extra width given by the case. Weight was not an issue as either the case and battery were light enough to carry in a pocket if one so prefers.
The 1250 mAh battery is more than enough juice to keep our phones alive even through a day of heavy usage. We also liked the way the Smart battery integrates by sliding into a slot behind the case thereby eliminating unnecessary bulk. The battery also has a on/off switch so if you’re done charging your phone or gadget you can simply turn the battery off.
Another useful feature of Third Rail cases and Smart batteries is compatibility with other cases/batteries by the manufacturer. So the case/battery you buy now will work with future versions of the other. Smart Design.
In a nutshell, We like this iPhone 4/4S battery and case solution from Third Rail a lot. Highly Recommended!
