Crumpler Dry Limited Edition Barney Rustle Blanket Review

The Barney Rustle Blanket is a fantastic messenger bag from Crumpler that offers a lot of protection and space while sporting a great design (i love the colors!). It is sized really well with 14 liters of space, more than enough for holding my day to day gadgets and work related items. I also love that it has multiple pockets, a very strong protective profile due to Velcro straps and plastic locks. A stabilizing strap has also been added to prevent the bag from slipping during movement.

The Barney Rustle Blanket is also water resistant making it an easy choice for those looking for a tough bag for everyday activities. This bag is made to last and is a looker. We stuffed it with my office laptop, my gadget kit (my very own techie version of the ladies’ kikay kit which holds various tceh related cables, usb drives, portable hard drives, power cables, usb broadband sticks and sim cards), 2 t-shirts, 2 books, 1 jacket and the Barney Rustle accommodated all items nicely. Perfect for those who lug around a lot of stuff yet don’t want their bags to look like they’re going to burst at any moment.

Here’s a true story: I showed this bag to a office colleague who has been buying bags from a rival manufacturer from abroad for years. He is now a happy and satisfied Crumpler bag owner. He loved the size, the protection and quality of the Barney Rustle and those features convinced him to do the switch to Crumpler.

The Crumpler Limited Edition Barney Rustle Blanket comes in a variety of colors but the review unit that arrived for me was the Black/Gray/Yellow version.
