Want to play Dota 2 but haven’t received an invite from Valve yet? Week 2 of our giveaway starts today. We’ll be raffling off 1 copy of the popular Steam game, which is currently in closed beta. Read on to find out how you can win one.

It goes without saying that anyone who wants a copy of Dota 2 have played the original Dota (Defense of the Ancients), or are interested in the burgeoning ARTS (Action Real-Time Strategy) genre. So we’ll be asking participants to share their thoughts on the game.

Week 2 starts today and runs up to May 2, 2012. All you need are accounts for:

  • Facebook (to participate)
  • Steam (so that you can play Dota 2 if you win the invite)

All you have to do is answer this question posted as a note on our Facebook page. Just a few things to keep in mind:

  • Leave your answer as a comment for the note.
  • Make sure to share the note with your Facebook friends, by click on the “Share” link directly below the note. We will only count those who answer the question and share the note as valid participants.
  • Deadline for week 2 is 11:59 PM, May 2, 2012, Philippine time.

Good luck!

Answers From Last Week

You all had great answers to last week’s question, “Why Play Dota?” Winner Marvin M. Monteagudo compared the game to a classic:

Because DOTA is the CHESS of our generation :)

Other highlights:

Benj Bautista: I mean this game is the one that spread and spawned the ARTS Genre! So whom wouldn’ty [sic]wanna play this!?

Lula Guest: Why play Dota? Because Diablo3 isn’t out until next month :(
