Boostcase Hybrid now available for iPhone 4 & 4S users in the Philippines

Like any other high-end smartphone, the batteries of the iPhone 4 and 4S can drain quickly as mobile internet addicts keep their 3G or WiFi on. Here’s a solution that not only provides additional power on-the-go, but some protection as well.

The Boostcase Hybrid is a case for the iPhone and iPhone 4S made up of two parts. An inner “Slimfit Snap On Case” latches onto the gadget to provide padding; it and and the phone plug into the add-on lithium-ion battery pack, which stores up to 1900mAh of power (more than the either iPhone’s 1420mAh built-in).

This effectively doubles the battery life of the phone. Lights on the bottom indicate how much power is left on the external battery, and it’s possible to keep the case on when charging or syncing the iPhone. Both the Slimfit case and detachable battery have provisions for the gadget’s built in camera, but only the former will show off the Apple logo.

The Boostcase Hybrid is available from the following stores:
