Speck iGuy iPad Case Review
The Speck iGuy is a standing case for Apple’s iPad that doesn’t look anything like your standard iPad case. It’s big and bulky, not the typical requirements for a iPad case but it brings its own charm and comfort.
Usage and Comfort
What the iGuy lacks in sleekness, it makes it up in comfort. I got friends remark that the iGuy would be perfect for driving simulations (TIP: Hold the case between the body and the hands, Don’t use the hands as handles =)). The case is perfectly suited for kids as the design is cute and the soft cushion provides ample protection from the occasional bumps. I also like the material they used for the iGuy, it is soft and sturdy at the same time and reminds me of your typical jelly case for your phone/iPod Touch.
The iGuy is meant to be used for iPads running on landscape mode, it just looks awkward in portrait so don’t bother using it that way. Using it on landscape mode allows you to set the iGuy firmly on a flat surface and watch videos, use the iPad as a reference screen, do Skype calls etc.
Bottomline
If you’re looking for a fun and comfortable case that is especially suited for kids, then i recommend checking out the Speck iGuy iPad case. It’s inexpensive, gives ample protection and is fun to look at!
