We’ve profiled the local online gadget retailer Ebuystore.com.ph many times on Technograph, including their low prices for the iPad 2. Turns out the first article on the site (written back in 2008) wasn’t positive, featuring complaints that a representative said no longer applied.

The rep said that the site experienced growing pains, which affected its ability to provide good customer service:

It is true that back then our service was not good. We never expected that we would be flooded with a lot of calls and orders etc since we were just a start up company. Now all I can say is that our service has already improved.

Whatever the case, the prices on Ebuystore remain appealing. The online retailer also supports installment plans ranging from 3 to 24 months, for BPI, Metrobank and HSBC credit card holders. The people behind Ebuystore also quickly reply to questions posted on the store’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
