Globe to offer iPad 2 plans
Sources within Globe today revealed that it would offer the iPad 2 bundled with data plans “in the coming weeks”. With stocks of the iPad 2 from retailers running low months after its local launch, this could be a chance for late adopters to enjoy the Apple tablet experience.
There’s no definite plan information yet, but obviously Globe will only offer the iPad 2 WiFi + 3G version. That’s the only model that can take advantage of the telcos data services, and despite the “3G” label the tablet should benefit from Globe’s 4G HSPA+ network.
If you still can’t wait, you can try your luck at the retailers we’ve wrote about here, here, and here. And since the tablet PC is quite popular, various businesses are raffling it off as a prize. You can also buy the iPad 2 from the Apple Store Philippines.
