Philippines among fastest growing LinkedIn countries for 2011
Here’s another feather in the Philippines’ social networking cap. According to a slide show published online, LinkedIn (linkedin.com) users based in the Philippines grew by 27.1% from January to July 2011.
The slide show (embedded below) is worth a look-through for anyone interested in the progress of the business-oriented social networking site. Interesting tidbits include the US’ continued dominance of the site’s membership roll, and the significant 34.6% growth in the Latin American region.
Previous studies have named Filipinos as among the most active social media users online, and the Philippines as the fastest growing country on Facebook.
