LG Optimus One 50% Price Drop Scheduled for November 13
While we’re on the subject of phones subject to a limited price drop period: The LG Optimus One will be available for 50% less this November 13 only. Details follow.
The Optimus One, one of the cheapest Android phones on the market today, will be available for only ₱6,450.00. That’s less than half the original ₱ SRP, and should make the smartphone more attractive to new phone buyers. As Techie reports:
This coming Saturday, November 13, the already affordable LG Optimus One will go for the ridiculously low price of P6,450. Yes, that’s half off, no questions asked. There is one catch, though: The sale will only last for an hour.
The nationwide sale will take place from 2-3 p.m. at LG concept stores in the following malls: SM Megamall, SM North EDSA Annex, SM Cebu, and Gaisano Davao.
At least two rumors about the sale are making the rounds: First, there will only be 50 units available in each store. Second, the salespeople will enforce a one-unit-per-person rule.
Is the Optimus One worth the purchase? At 50%, most definitely. It runs the latest version of Android (2.2 “Froyo) and has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a fully kitted-out smartphone.
