Weird ads aside, here’s a genuinely interesting promo from the social networking has-been.

Obviously an attempt to get people back to Friendster in general, and to get hooked on Friendster Games specifically, Friendster started an iPad giveaway contest last May 7. It will run until June 3, 2010. Requirements to join? Playing two Friendster Games called Boomz or War2. More details here.

Friendster Games are, in case you didn’t notice, their version of Facebook apps that are more gaming-oriented. Will you resurrect your Friendster account for a chance to win an iPad?
