The Easiest Desk Cable Organization Solution Ever

Now why didn’t I think of this? Simply clamp binder clips to the side of your desk keep those cables neat. Now you don’t have to worry about your cables falling off to the back, whenever you have to disconnect them from your laptop/phone/iPod.

I’ve been doing this for years – I first saw it on Lifehacker – where else, right? The only downside is, unless you pad it first (Use a thin piece of rubber matting or cloth), it could damage your desk if left on for too long. The other thing it doesn’t do is manage the clutter of cables hanging over the back of your desk and all over your feet. For that, I’d recommend either the “rain gutter” tray solution or the punchboard workshop method.
