Some bets predict that a particular person or team will win a particular competition, and sometimes the when and how. Last week, before the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey, the office betting pool was busy.

But when you work in a web services company, with a complete team of web developers and net-savvy employees, you don’t put up wagers the old-school way. You place bets on a web interface, simply by clicking on when you think the fight would end (click on thumbnail to see the full-size version):
