If You Spend Too Much Time Playing PC Games…
…Then you’re like me. My personal record is 12 hours straight in a net cafe, during college when I was a master at Counter-Strike, and leveling up my first character in Diablo II.
I remember that day, bringing lunch to the cafe, eating it quickly as I began the final levels leading to Diablo himself. When teams were formed to determine Counter-Strike dominance, I’d paused my game to join.
That’s the miracle of PC multi-tasking at work, and also a prime example of how much time people waste on video games. I’m still an avid gamer, and believe it or not, some people waste more time than me. Whether on World of Warcraft, or masa-friendly like DoTA. It seems like people are missing out on the good things, for the sake of accomplishments that are relevant only within the game world.
The points of the video above are a reason why I’ve never committed to time-heavy games like World of Warcraft. I’m old enough to know that I only have enough time squeeze in Mass Effect 2 nowadays anyway. I’ve got more important things to do, and that of course includes making money. Not like this American dude, who was left homeless because of his addiction to gaming and the internet.
What about you? How much time have you spent on video games? What’s your personal best for a marathon session?
