As a country of avid singers—proper melody be damned—it’s fitting that the Philippines comes out with cutting-edge karaoke technology. Like the Pro Wireless MTV 2010 Edition from Wow Videoke.

Pro Wireless MTV 2010 Edition

It’s, as the tagline goes, “not just a revolution, But a TOTAL KARAOKE EVOLUTION!” What other Karaoke setup works with any TV, is portable, and features two wireless mics for those Stupid Luv duets? The Pro Wireless packs 2,934 songs into its internal 8 GB memory, leaving 500 MB for the user to fill up. There are over a thousand OPM songs, 42 MTVs, and even 643 songs with back-up singers.

The 6 hours of video backgrounds reflect what’s in for Filipino society today: “WOW! Philippines, Anime, MTV,
Korea Video”. Users can even load their own backgrounds and songs to customize their own singalong experience.

Such a high-end karaoke experience doesn’t come cheap though. Expect to spend P19,500 for the ultimate party fixture. Get the Pro Wireless MTV 2010 Edition here.

As a tribute to our national pastime, here’s Stupid Luv—complete with lyrics!

Sobrang mahal!! IMO, the music videos shold have been replaced with more current songs. Those files are heavy on the Gb. DVD players now (cheap ones) come bundled with mic and DVDs with bajillion songs at sub-20% the price of that “highly evolved” product :P
