Another tip from reader melvin: why wait for HTC Philippines to bring the Passion (basically another name for the Nexus One) into the local market when you can buy it today?

That’s right, you can buy the “Nexus Google” from EbuyStore for P33,200. It’s the most powerful smartphone running the Android OS to date, with the HTC Desire scheduled for an April 2010 release. Though most Nexus Ones are designed to work in the US, guest editor Allan Caeg was kind enough to share his experiences using the Nexus One in the Philippines.

As melvin said: “ebuystore to the rescue again”. Hard to disagree with him. If you’re wondering just what the Google Nexus One is capable, check out its specs below:

    @33, its 10k cheaper than iPhone 16GB.

    I never heard of ebuy though, but it looks like they copied ebay design and colors. I’m surprise ebay didn’t go after them.

    I just visited their site, it looks like the price has gone down to PhP30,200. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

    They brought down the price of the package but the 4Gb memory card that comes with it based on gsmarena is bought separately?
