Sony DR-BT30Q: A Bluetooth Headset For Everyone?
By Rico, 9:09 am Mon Feb 8 2010 - Rundowns - What Do You Think?
Well, no. Not everyone can afford the P7,299 SRP, and the pearl-colored-pod-over-your-ear look is polarizing. But the Sony DR-BT30Q has one feature that would probably make it appeal to everyone.
The left and right ear pieces are independent of each other, save for a cord that connects the two together. You simply pull both pieces apart to extend the cord, and wear both of them over your ears. The supporting braces swivel on a spring, and fit like glasses. Once you’re done, push the auto wind button, and the mechanism inside the left ear piece automatically winds up the cord, leaving two pods that fit in a pocket.
This auto wind feature alone makes the DR-BT30Q useful for those with bags full of entangled cords, since this Sony bluetooth headset takes care of its own mess. Other than that the DR-BT30Q features the same functionality as other headsets, such as wireless streaming audio and remote control. Stay tuned for a review.
