The Technograph New Year’s Giveaway: More Prizes, Extended!

The response to our new year’s giveaway has been pretty overwhelming. That’s why we’ve decided to extend it, and add some consolation prizes. More chances to win, dear readers!

How to Join Our Contest If You Still Haven’t

To those who’ve already joined, don’t worry: you are still part of the random computerized draw that will determine the winners. To those who still haven’t joined our new year’s giveaway (shame on you!), here’s how:

1. Sign up for an account at Fizzer. Filipinos living in the Philippines and who get Fizzer accounts through this link will be considered for The Technograph New Year’s Giveaway.
2. Once you have a Fizzer account, upload at least one picture of yourself to your photo gallery, and add at least one school to your profile.
3. Send a message to editor -sa- technogra -dot- ph (replace “-sa” and “-dot” with “@” and “.” respectively) to let me know you’ve signed up for a Fizzer account. Once I verify your profile, I will reply to confirm your entry into the contest.No more need to email us! You will automatically be added to the contest!
4. The Technograph New Year’s Giveaway now ends on February 14, 2010. A computer application will randomly choose the winner, who we shall announce by Feburary 16, 2010. We will also contact the winner regarding prize pick-up/delivery details.
5. If the winner comes from Metro Manila, he/she agrees to pickup the item at a location and time of our choice. If the winner comes from outside the Metro, then we will need to ship it via Air21 or LBC (we will pay for shipping). By joining, potential winners agree NOT to hold Technograph or any of our authors/owners liable for any damage or loss caused by the shipping company.

The Prizes

Originally, we would only choose one winner, with plans to award him or her a Verzio A501, a Samsung S3500, and a Logitech V550 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse–three gadgets worth almost P10,000!

But to thank those who’ve supported our contest so enthusiastically, we’re adding consolation prizes, and thus more chances to win! Here they are:

• A two-thousand peso (P2,000) Gift Certificate for Power Mac Center
• An Intel “bunny suit” flash drive
• An Internet Explorer 8 cap
