The Bluetooth PC Remote Perfect for Presentations

If you need to control a computer across the room, here’s a gadget that lets you remotely type in text—and even move the mouse around to point and click on things.
EFO is planning to come out with a Bluetooth “handheld keyboard”. For all intents and purposes though, this pocket-sized device is like a small version any Windows PC it’s connected to, sans screen. A touch pad with vertical scroll is on top of a small QWERTY thumb board, letting users type (or more accurately, tap) in text, and manipulate objects on the screen via the mouse pointer. Here’s a demo video of sorts:
Even better, the EFO Bluetooth Handheld Keyboard is available to Filipino buyers, through online retail. Until it’s “formal launch”, the device will cost $50. Shipping to “any country” (which I assume covers the Philippines) will cost an additional $5. The gadget also comes with a mini Bluetooth dongle, so even owners of computers without Bluetooth can use the handheld keyboard out of the box.
I’m assuming EFO’s product is perfect for people giving a presentation, and homeowners who want to control their media PC from across the living room. More details are available on The Gadget Blog. Hopefully I can score a review unit soon, so stay tuned.

This is similar to the diNovo Mini released by Logitech but instead of a trackpad, it has directional keys.

I’ve seen the diNovo being sold here already though at a steeper price of around Php 9.6k! Review by PCWorld Phil here: http://pcworld.com.ph/reviews-logitech-dinovo-mini/
CDR-King actually has a bulkier RF-based mini keyboard with a built-in trackball for Php1.6k. =)

however i doubt how will this compare with a much cheaper professional laser presenter doing the basic thing for apresentation.
