Thanks to a copy of Windows XP stopping, freezing the news screen it controlled, we are left with a literal snapshot of John Lloyd Cruz puckering up, ready for eager fans to take advantage of.

If Lloydie doesn’t like this, he has Windows XP to blame. The software apparently determined it wasn’t a legitimate copy for some reason, so popped up a notification (“Windows Genuine Advantage”) that effectively made everything else on the news screen stop—including the Greenwich ad featuring the boy next door celebrity (controlled by the “Navori Tycoon Player” app).

Ah well, that’s the price of fame I guess. At least Mr. Cruz makes good money endorsing pizza’s and low-cost cell phones. In case you’re wondering, the news screen is at the lobby of Antel Corporate Center, a building along Valero street, behind PBCom Tower in Makati’s Central Business District.
