Thanks to my coverage of Filipina Bianca King endorsing the HTC Hero, readers have asked about the Android OS phone’s price and availability.

HTC Hero

An email from my contact within HTC Philippines—fittingly sent to me through from his own Hero, stated that the HTC Hero was actually available since last month, at an official SRP of P33,900.

Since we’re talking about HTC phones here anyway, here are the prices of other recent models from the maker, and their respective prices:

Phone Price
Hero 33,900.00
Touch Pro 2 49,000
Touch Diamond 2 31,900
Touch 2 24,900
Touch 3G 19,900
Touch Viva 14,900

All phones, including the Hero are available from the following retailers—at the very least:

  • HTC Concept Store
  • Electroworld / Avant
  • Memo Xpress
  • Mega Cellular
  • Complink
  • Ambassador Appliances
  • Best Mobile / Com Centre
  • Globotel
  • Power Telecoms / Blue Lite
  • Berlein
  • Mobile1
  • XSite Mobile
  • PC Gadgets

Found a lower price on- or offline? Feel free to share the details below.

Same here… I’m on the hunt for the EVO. I would like to know if it will be ever be available here in the Philippines. I’m currently looking for a replacement for my Samsung Omnia SOON and would really like to get my hands on the EVO. If not, I’ll guess I’ll have to settle for an iPhone 4.
