Nokia N97 Mini First Impressions
At first glance, the Nokia N97 mini is a misnomer, as it’s barely smaller than the original N97. With a lower price and practically the same features as the N97, the N97 mini looks promising however.
Available in two colors, black and the more feminine “Garnet”, the N97 mini represents many improvements over the N97, at least on the exterior. Aside from a slightly more compact body, the mini enjoys the rigidity of a steel backplate, unlike the flimsy plastic of the N97. The dust-collecting sliding lens-cover is gone as well, and the swivel-slide joint seems a touch more snappy.
My only concern right now is how long the battery lasts, as the N97 mini uses a weaker 1200mAh battery, compared to the N97′s 1500mAh. Full review to follow, so stay tuned! The Nokia N97 mini currently retails for as low as P25,500 on cgena.com.
