Sesinio “Czy” Ampongan Jr. is an animator at Tooncity Animation, Inc., a locally-based studio that has produced for clients like Walt Disney, Nickelodeon, and Universal Studios. And he’s looking for help for a “possible” full-length movie. Details follow.

As sighted on his Facebook page:

Tooncity 3D Department is currently looking for junior lighting and effects(particles and dynamics) artists for a “possible” full-length movie. Interested artists may reach me through 09175712749. Details of the project will be posted later. Thank you!

If you’ve got no idea what “particles and dynamics” means, then you’ve got no business applying. To satisfy your curiosity however, the former is about generating minute objects on a scene, like the sparks generated by welding or snow, and using these objects to generate realistic effects like fire and liquid. The latter involves simulating real-world physics between the objects in a computer animation scene, like making sure the sand in a virtual hourglass doesn’t pass through the glass. As you can see, particles and dynamics are closely related to each other.

Like the job posting says above, contact Czy at 09175712748 if you’re interested!
