Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Pictures

If you’re still wondering how the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic looks like, here are some pictures for your consumption, followed by some updates on using the phone. The phone has so far proved to be a worthy successor to the Nokia 5800, but there are some noticeable issues.
First off, the pics:
The 5530′s touch-screen is very responsive. Like the N97 and the 5800, the phone vibrates slightly whenever you touch a button to provide feedback. There are also some interface animations currently unique to this relatively affordable phone (SRP is P12,150)—at least until Nokia comes out with updates for the other two phones.
The smaller screen is a limiting factor however. While this makes the 5530 more compact, there is less area to touch and thus its slightly harder to tap with precision—at least for people used to big touch-screens, who’ve most likely spent good money on a more expensive gadget anyway.
Another limiting factor is the 5530′s lack of high-speed wireless broadband. Like the E63, this phone is limited to EDGE. Ideally, it should be speedy when network conditions are good, but the reality is that it’s better to download the free bundled music and videos through a reliable WiFi connection. Stay tuned for a full review!
