What HP Promises With Its New PhotoSmart Printers
Yesterday, HP Philippines lunched a bunch of HP Photosmart Printers. While we collate all pricing info (for the printers and corresponding supplies), check out how the new HP Photosmart Premium C309G, the top dog of the new model line, allows you to print photos from your cellphone via Bluetooth.
First, you select a photo on your phone (like what I did on my Nokia N97), then send it to the printer via Bluetooth (click on the photos to inspect them up-close):
Load some photo paper onto the printer as needed:
And tada! Literally a photo-quality print!
The whole process requires, aside from the printer itself, enough ink and photo paper. Once we get the complete pricing info from the dudes at HP, we shall share with you dear readers as soon as possible. So at the very least, you know how much to spend to print out those scandalous photos for your private collection!
An ending note: during the press event I had some difficulty transferring the photo to the printer, because everyone was trying to send in their images for printing at the same time! Those who buy an HP printer that supports Bluetooth transfers (or perhaps any printer that support Bluetooth) should have no problems with the process in the relative privacy of their home or office.
