The Gadgets of Gloria Diaz and Isabelle Daza

It’s a hot mother-daughter tandem, as Gloria Diaz and her equally beautiful daughter Isabelle Daza share what gadgets they use. Find out how Miss Universe 1969 and Slenda’s newest endorser prove the generational gap true.

Nearly forty years after her crowning (haha) achievement, it seems Gloria Diaz retains the casual confidence that characterized her winning answer back in 1969. The former beauty queen has classic sensibilities, which extend to her reliance on a couple of low-end Nokia cell phones (just for calling and texting she asserted), and a preference for DZMM over the iPod and speakers arrangement in her bedroom.

Her daughter Isabelle Daza is definitely a product of the modern age, with a black Nokia E71, a white Macbook, and a Canon IXUS 980IS to her name. She tweets, and frequently uploads photos to her Facebook account. Not present was her black Blackberry Storm, which she might replace with a Curve soon. Waking her Macbook from sleep mode revealed an episode of Gossip Girl playing, and a wallpaper snapshot with Anne Curtis enjoying the night life in the background.

Both women definitely showed the beauty and brains go hand-in-hand. Yet their take on gadgets couldn’t be more different. Gloria Diaz jokingly(?) accused me of planning to make fun of her minimalist set-up in this article, while Isabelle Daza made it clear that gadgets are part of her everyday life.

The other one is probably a Nokia 6070 – in which before was part of the initial budget mid-end camera phones way back during the advent of the Nokia 6600 that costs a staggering 23K(remember that?).
