So the apparently carefree jeffyrosete published a blog post last August 3, entitled Stash Those Yellow Ribbons Away. Mofos. The money quote:
OK nga si Marcos eh, nabigyan niya ng disiplina ang mga tao, oo hindi maiwasan ang mga kriminal sa paligid, anjan naman sila palagi eh, parang guardian angel, pero ibang trabaho nga lang. Pero still, you get my point. Kaso wala, binaboy ni Cory (Babay Cory hahahaha magsama kayo ni Cardinal Sin. HAHAHA sa langit ka nga ba talaga pupunta??? Hihi.)

clearly, someone who has been reading too much science fiction. or grossly misdirected. she makes a good point though that people were more disciplined before. because of marcos or not, i can’t be sure. was still sperm and ovum at the time.
but for the ill will to a deceased? that’s just immature and too low. tsk, tsk… mga kabataan nga naman. (gosh, i sound so old!)

Well, I myself am not sure, but I trust the opinion of people who were actually there during the time of Marcos: whatever discipline we had as a people evaporated when Marcos’ rule suspended the writ of habeas corpus, and allowed corruption to flourish.
