Wanted: More UAAP Videos Online!

uaap-videosYes, the 71st UAAP season is underway. And yes, practically everyone will focus on the Men’s Basketball Championship. Which means most of the UAAP videos you see online involve… basketball!

Like, for instance, Fonacier blocking Cardona twice in the finals:

Or Jino Ferrer’s buzzer beater:

Or JV Casio’s winning shot:

Then again, you’ve also got this stalker’s fan’s tribute to various UAAP volleyball players:

And uh… the very buxom Gretchen Fullido, former courtside reporter for UP:

The point is, since practically every UAAP fan has their cell phone or camera, there’s simply no excuse to take videos of your favorite game, personality, or whatever! Upload them on your favorite online video service (my personal favorite: Vimeo). Let’s actually attend games, and stop just recording what appears on TV. The UAAP is more than just Men’s Basketball—and anything related to that.

Heck, we should even start going beyond that damn Ateneo-La Salle (or La Salle-Ateneo) rivalry. I mean, most of Adidas’ marketing photos for its new UAAP-inspired clothing line features shots of… Ateneo and La Salle outfits!
