UNO Magazine Rewards Online Readers (Kinda NSFW but no Nudity)

So I get this email highlighting the difference between UNO Magazine’s online and offline presentation. Paper readers have to suffer through Cindy Kurleto’s almost naked body covered up with block text, while online visitors get to enjoy a more pristine version. Here are both presentations for your discerning mind.

To quote Uno’s online consultant, Jayvee (who sent me the email):

hello sir,

i think the beauty of online is that you can send two different covers — one with the cover lines and the other one without. the former looks better kasi in actual print but not in online. so there — two versions =)

As I so wisely replied:

Can’t you guys come up with a NSFW version? You know, the one missing the ribbons! Hahahahah!

So what do you think of UNO’s duality? Personally, I’m wondering if UNO may be pushing readers online too soon, especially since their website business model isn’t really that established yet.

On UNO Magazine’s July 2009 ish

I don’t think anyone would notice even if you remove the ribbons.
