It’s too bad Pinoy Wrestling didn’t last long. Imagine, today we could’ve been cheering for King Cobra, Macho Franco, and Turko Torero! Here’s a little online video to make you remember 1989, a match between the tag team of Joe Pogi & Zorro, against the Smokey Mountain Brothers!

Watching these videos, I realized that Pinoy Wrestling should’ve let its wrestlers cut their own promos. Instead of relying on a narrator to introduce the characters in this home-bred male soap opera, these wrestlers would’ve made more impact speaking directly to the audience themselves.
