Battlefield Heroes: Free Online Shooter Available for Download

So what is Battlefield Heroes? Why, a cartoony shooter of course, playable online! The action mainly focuses on capturing and holding flags, as well as the time-honored tradition of killing members of the opposing team.
The action is kept free through advertising and the ability to buy items to customize your character. The former does not appear in-game, while items do not grant the buyer any gameplay advantage.
So, if you honestly do not want to pay for a game (more so for those on Steam), why not sink your teeth into this? You can tell your friends all about Battlefield Heroes, and good times can be had! Just visit http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/ to download the game and start playing.
Take note though, the game is still in Open Beta, so you might encounter a few niggling bugs. Good luck!
