Here’s why we bothered publishing a picture of Bea Alonzo in a bikini (aside from her looking good in it, of course).
Looks like the apparent novelty of the development (Bea Alonzo never appeared on-screen in a two-piece apparently) has gotten traffic-hungry local websites posting a cover of a recent issue of The Buzz, in an attempt to attract oglers and increase their bottom line.
Facts and anecdotes surrounding her newfound exposure followed the picture around; the scene captured for the magazine cover was taken during filming for Alonzo’s upcoming movie “And I Love You” (awwwww), which also features Sam Milby and Derek Ramsay, and Bea Alonzo reportedly lost 15 pounds for the role.
In any case, this proves that a pinoy showbiz reality remains true: show a little skin, get a little more attention, offline and online. Maybe this will get more people to buy her songs on iTunes?
