How to Open and Operate an Internet Cafe in the Philippines

On his blog, GM Tristan does a great job of answering the inquiry of one of his readers, Aileen, who asked if it was better to either buy an existing net cafe or start from scratch. The GM does a great job of calling attention to common sense, telling Aileen to keep the following in mind when considering her options:
- Location. Basically which area enjoys the most foot traffic.
- Computers. How old are the equipment?
- Operating Cost. Break down the potential gross profit, subtract the potential expenses, and see which option offers a better deal.
- Customers. Perhaps the net cafe you want to buy has a lot of “suki” customers?
