When Will the MSI Wind U115 Reach the Philippines?

The MSI Wind should pique interest due to its tested 13-hour battery life. As international affiliate The Gadget Blog reports, a unit was left on with a program maintaining CPU usage at 100%. With WiFi off and the display presumably on the whole time, the battery died out after 13 hours and 15 minutes.
No small feat, considering the processor is one of the more power-hungry components of a netbook. So’s the WiFi controller though, so I’m assuming that with it on we can expect a battery life of around 7-8 hours of casual surfing and business work? (A review reports a lifespan of 10 hours) Close to what’s currently advertised by Asus.
The MSI Wind U115 features the following:
- 1.6Ghz Intel Atom
- WiFi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth
- 10.1″ screen with (1024 x 600)
- 1GB RAM
- 10GB SDD
- 10GB HDD
- Memory card reader
It runs on Windows XP Home. I’ll try to find out if the MSI Wind U115 is already available here in the Philippines, and at what price. But if you already have that info, feel free to share it by leaving an opinion below.
