The Smart BRO-Powered Wireless Router

shareitsmallBasically, Smart BRO Share It allows up to five computers to use the same Smart BRO account. Think of it as Smart’s wireless broadband service integrated with a WiFi hotspot.

Initially, Share It is available under “Plan 999″. For P999, the unit will provide 90 hours worth of up to 2 mbps connectivity, in “key cities in the country”. Going over that cap costs 35 centavos per additional minute (or P21 an hour). Customers will have to commit to a one-year lock-in, and pay P3,499 for the Share It unit itself, and for the first month of service.

Let’s hope Smart has resolved BRO’s notorious (whether deserved or not) reliability issues. It wouldn’t be good for the company if they suddenly have 5 new complaints for each Share It package!
