Valve: Not Satisfied With Measly 4GB of RAM

Mukhang mayaman talaga si Valve! The software company, known for the Half-Life series, Left 4 Dead, and Team Fortress 2, recently listed the specs of their office desktops. As a way to explain why they collect info on their customers’ PCs via the Steam Hardware Survey.
Seems like a 2.83Ghz Core 2 Quad processor and 4GB of RAM isn’t enough, so Valve decided to roll-out an upgrade. How does a near-3.0Ghz quad-core processor and 12GB of RAM sound? That’s on top of the 30″ Dell (boo!) display (or dual-20.1″ setup) and 1GB video card presently used.
