Hed Kandi 5800 XpressMusic Launch

Renwick Sarmiento was kind enough to go to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic launch party on our behalf. Too bad he wasn’t allowed to take pictures with his Canon 450D, and had to settle on using the Nokia E63‘s built-in camera.

Hed Kandi once again conquered the Manila party scene last January 23, 2009, as it featured an all-star line up led British house sensation DJ Andy Daniels as well as Pinoy DJs Anton Ramos and Johnboy Lee. The event, which was held at A-Venue, Makati Ave., also featured the launch of Nokia’s newest baby, The 5800 XpressMusic.

Having scored Nokia VIP passes, we had the best seats of the night. From the open bar at The Bureau to the VIP lounge at the main hall itself.

Aside from the sexy beats, one of the highlights of the night was the unveiling of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which was fancied by a stage-size model of the unit together with colorful fireworks and hot dancers that led to the crowd’s delight. You could see everybody simultaneously raise their mobile phones and digital cameras to capture the moment. After which, everybody went wild when one of Hed Kandi’s more popular beats, Fade, started to play.

Everyone indeed had a great time and the event was such a blast. Bigfish Manila and Nokia Music once again proved that they have the perfect formula to an awesome party. Great crowd. Kick-ass music. Fun night :)
