Animosity for Mayor Nasser Pangandaman Jr. Spawns Online “Kick Me” Game

Wow. All it took was a blog post by Bambee dela Paz and five days to spawn a lot of online hatred for Nasser Pangandaman Jr. He’s the mayor of Masiu City, Lanao del Sur, the son of the current DAR chief, and accused of beating up Bambee’s dad Delfin and her 14-year-old brother Bino over golfing etiquette.
Much was said about how there are always two sides to the story, the problems of Muslim Mindanao, the arrogance of Philippine politicians, etc.
Honestly, that’s all old news. Sadly, multi-faceted controversy, political patronage, and contemptuous behavior are all cliche villainous behavior here in the Philippines. What is new about this, at least for me, is the kick Nasser game, made by pictogame.com user “aardwolf” (also available here):
So yes, people have expressed their disgust through words online before. But this is the first time I’ve seen someone actually take the time to edit Mayor Nasser’s picture, upload the image, and make a game out of it. A really complete rundown of reactions online here. Forget about Takipsilim (confirmed by readers as a hoax). This is the online issue for 2009—if people don’t forget about it immediately.

Mr. JNP is right! That’s the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It was dela Paz who provoked the fight. The Pangandanan’s were provoked many times before the brawl at the tee house including the umbrella poking which was the last straw for them. Mayabang talaga yang si Papa dela Paz kahit ipagtanong niyo sa mga caddies ng Valley. Wala ring bodyguard na kasama sa fairway. Na sa labas sila. Nagkataon lang na ang inaway ni dela Paz ay may mga katungkulan sa gobyerno dahil kung hindi eh ito ay magiging internal problem lang within Valley. Marami ng karanasan ang mga empleyado ng valley na masama talaga magalit si papa dela paz pati na rin si Bino. Iba sila umasta. Dapat rin malaman ng mga tao na hindi naglalaro ng golf si papa dela paz kung hindi sinasamahan lang niya ang mga anak niya. Kaya kung tutuusin mabilis sila makatapos ng isang hole dahil mga jungolfers sila at magagaling. Ang na sa harap nila ay 4some na syempre ay mas mabagal sa 2some. Let’s get the story straight ok. Ang mali lang talaga ay nabugbog ang 14 years old na si Bino na hindi inakala ng mayor na katorse lamang dahil may katangkaran ang bata. Ang hindi alam ng karamihan ay maraming hindi nailagay sa blog ni Bambee. Hindi niya sinalaysay kung sino ang unang naging physical. Syempre naman kasi blog niya yon. Kaya tama na wag na natin pagdiinan na may kasalanan ang mga Pangandamans dahil talaga namang nakakalalaki ang ginawa kay mayor. Yun lang!

naku… bakit hindi na lang kau mag mhalan lahat.. wala naman kau mapapala sa pagpapalitan niyo ng mga salita e… kasi po ang dalwang panig ay lahat pinagtatangol ang sarili nila kaya’t hindi na niyo malalaman kung sinu ang tama at mali sa kanila… buti siguro sa inyo hyaan na niyo dalwa panig i solve prob nila noh!!!!……. napaka unethical nila. father and son versus a tons of bulky men. a mayor threatening a 14 year old boy. saying “tatandaan kita!” WTH! have you attended school? or even your values class? MAYOR KA PA LANG ANG LAKI NA NG ULO MO. well political dynasty talaga. that’s why hindi umuunlad ang Philippines dahil sa bulok na leaders. And Mayor, you’re filing a complain that your 8 year old son had a trauma? anong magagawa ng father and son tandem sa mga bodyguards mong with rifle? well then tatandaan kita!

why, should we spawn hatred, againsat just one, why noy get angry with dela paz also, if has etiqutte he should have let go of the situation and not further the altercation. and also i’m not playing golf but, being inside a golf course means you have lot of money to spend. that nobody (let hide him in the name of Dela Paz). NOBODY should have used his money to help the people by feeding the poor, or putting it in a charitable institution. hahaha. nobody doesnt have the rigth mind to play golf. anyway nobody started it by poking at the mayor.

What a big dumb lie the Pangandaman version of the story turned out to be. Can you imagine a 56 year old father acting like a temperamental maniac and a total retard risking the safety of his 14 year old son and 18 year old daughter to challenge 5 men with guns!!!
The Pangandamans should have their day in court. But not being able to excercise restraint and bloodgeoning the faces of a 56 year old man and a 14 year old boy should be enough reason for anyone with some sense of self respect to discredit these beasts.
There will always be lying idiots, paid thugs and of course the likes of blink234red.

who cares about ‘nakakalalaki’? is a bruised ego a good enough reason to trample on the rights of other people? Especially if a minor is involved?
even IF the dela pazes started the fight(the thing stressed over and over again by some posters), mr.- or mayor- pangandaman should have just taken the high road OR walked away and filed a complaint himself. and, why, you ask me? because he is a politician, for goodness’ sake! that must mean something. he is supposed to be a GOOD example to his people. especially in these times, when a war is still raging in mindanao. how could this person promote peace if he doesn’t start it with himself?
this incidence just shows his arrogance and disrespect for his position. and, fyi, ang umarteng parang diyos-diyosan dito ay si mayor dahil siya ang may authority. tama bang ipangalandakan ang government position nya? parang pinakita nyang INGRATO sya kasi kung kaya nyang ganyanin ang wala sa teritoryo nya, paano pa yung nasasakupan nya? sa ordinaryong mamamayan nanggagaling ang suweldo nya, di ba?

first of all you should all get your facts straight. the pangandanans did not blurt out that they are government officials. they were provoked by this dela paz many times before the mayor flared up. and don’t think that the 14 year old is innocent as he seems to be on tv because he acted very arrogant just like his father. they have no place in the golf course. and where the heck did you get the idea that they had guns in the fairway??? there were no body guards there too. the body guards just rushed in the scene at the clubhouse when they learned that the mayor and company were engaged in a fist fight. alamin niyo muna ang katotohanan bago maghusga. hindi porke politiko ang tao ay pwede na lang siya tusuktusukin ng payong at muramurahin ng kahit sino at hindi kikibo…..madaling sabihin pero kung sumosobra na ang taong arogante kailangan turuan ng leksyon. Isipin niyo na lang kung ang mga Pangandanans ay mga ordinaryong mamamayan lamang at sinugod ni dela paz…ano kaya ang gagawin niya??? hindi ko kilala ang mga pangandanans at hindi ko rin kilala ang mga dela paz pero sa tingin ko nakatapat si boy dela paz ng isang tao na hindi siya uurungan.

Ang saklaw ng kapangyarihan mo ay hanggang sa siyudad mo lang, kaya wag kang umasta na may kapangyarihan ka pa sa antipolo. G_go! Kung matapang talaga kayo, bakit nyo kelangan ng bodyguards sa loob ng golf course? At kung mga lalaki kayo, dapat pinipinli nyo yung kakalabanin nyo. hindi yung bata at matanda ang pinapatulan nyo.
Kung talagang matapang kayo, dapat ipadala kayo sa basilan o sulu, dun may siguradong willing na makipagbakbakan sa inyo! Unless isa rin kayo sa mga boss na mga bayaran na abu sayaff, na nag-uutos na magpatumba ng kalaban sa pulitika, o kaya magpakidnap ng mga tao para may pera sa eleksyon.
Junior, kaysa siguro na nasa golf course ka dapat nandun ka sa siyudad mo para maglingkod, kung alam mo ang ibig sabihin ng maglingkod. Kung hindi mo alam, tanong mo sa tatay mo na naglagay sayo sa pwesto mo ngayon jan… Masiu City, este siyudad nga ba yun? isa lang yata yan sa mga city sa papel, pero mas mahirap pa sa isang municipality sa realidad.
Senior pangandaman, no wonder hindi umusad ang extension ng CARP, dahil sa mala-bulag mong reaction during the incident. Malamang ganyan din ang reaction mo nung kasagsagan ng mga rally ng mga magsasaka… Tapos mag-a-appeal ka pa sa media na judgment by publicity ang nangyari sa inyo.. E kung sana kasi hindi ka naging tuod nung mga panahon na umastang action star ang mga anak mo, e di sana hindi nangyari to…
Now, face the consequence of your actions! Tingnan ko lang kung may future pa ang political (dynasty) career nyo.
