Last Minute Shopping: Dell XPS M1330 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3

Dell XPS M1330. The portable powerhouse from Dell, which I bought for P80,000 around six months ago, was bought from the Dell store is SM Marikina. The package, which included—to quote a friend—”free speaker thing that’s bigger than the laptop, and a thumb drive,” sold for P74,000. Pictures to follow.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3. The high-end point-and-shoot camera, in high demand among even professional photographers for its dSLR-like capabilities, currently retails for P25,500 from Digital Walker (there’s a branch in Park Square One). The package includes a Crumpler carrying case and a memory card, so it’s probably worth a look.

Oh, and if you have a better price, feel free to share by leaving an opinion for this article.

Just by adding couple more thousand bucks, you can get a DSLR like the Nikon D60 or the Canon Rebel / EOS series.

    Just a tip.

    Thanks.

I know I know… pero as a proud point-and-shoot owner, dSLRs are a bit too bulky for me. It’s also said the LX3 rivals dSLRs, in terms of quality.

    One thing’s for sure, I wouldn’t bother with a Cybershot! :P
