Have You Tried eBuyStore?

Got any last-minute shopping to do? Maybe you can check out eBuyStore.com.ph, a self-declared “eBay PowerSeller” that caters to the Philippine market. The online storefront features a wide variety of items, primarily cellphones, portable media players like the iPod, and cameras like the increasingly popular Lumix LX3. Payment methods currently supported include credit cards, PayPal, GCASH, direct bank deposit and COD.
Unfortunately, at least one customer has had problems with the retail website:
The items I bought at eBuyStore are not yet shipped to me mainly because of the Digital Camera I ordered. The expected shipment was Tuesday so I was expecting to receive it today, Wednesday. Unfortunately, they have to delay the shipment because the camera is out of stock. Anyway, they promised me that they will send the items tomorrow night and expect to receive it on Friday. I hope it’s true because I can’t want for another week. It was frustrating because I thought they will send the items within 24 after they receive my payments. I deposited the money last Saturday pa. [emphasis hers]
It seems another customer has had admittedly vague complaints about eBuyStore as well:
Don’t expect to talk to competent people. But I’mma see this current transaction through just to see if the products are good
… I guess incompetent isn’t the right word. More like “unprofessional,”
I placed a bid na lang on the guy’s ebay item. Para if in case he ditches me, I can give him a bad review and mess with his rating.
Now I’m thinking if I should still buy anything from the store. Two horror stories are enough for me to reconsider. Have you tried eBuyStore? What are your experiences with them?

Way back 2006 wala pa po silang website sa kanila na po kami nag order ng wholesale lapa naman kami na experienced na problem sa kanila. Last time nagkaproblem lang kami sa 1 unit na nakuha namin we reported it within 24hrs to their sales pinapalitan naman agad.
Mababa talaga price nila kasi direct importer sila kaya napapasa lahat ng savings sa buyer and nag supply din sila sa mga malls and greenhills. Ang laki na ng kinita namin dahil sa ebuystore.

It was my sister’s birthday and she wished for a SE phone as a gift. I purchased the phone through their website (April 30) and had COD as means of payment that happened May 2. Their delivery boy was nice and did some basic service tests – the transaction was smooth.
Then I went to National Bookstore to have it wrapped do I can give it to her the next day. My sister as expected was so happy to receive her dream phone.
Then the nightmare began after two hours.
The LCD started to flicker light a lightbulb that nears the end of its life. It was tolerable at first and told her that it might need some charging since its the first time that it is used. We had it charged (while turned off) but the problem persisted, and this time it is hurting to the eye. I told my sister to contact them May 4 but no one was picking up their hotlines, so I emailed the following day insisting that the unit be replaced and told me that my sister was able to reach them.
They had her unit left their repair shop and after a week, they told us we have to pay 3800 for the replacement of the LCD. WT_?!?! The unit was only used for two hours, supposedly brand new! And so i had a lengthy heated exchange of text messages with their delivery boy.
All I was asking is explain why the LCD malfunctioned only two hours after usage?!? They said that I only have 1-year service warranty and cannot be replaced! But my sister was not able to use it peoperly two hours after purchase! I even told him that I’ll give him all of my money (even in my bank accounts) if he can explain why it malfuctioned after a short time! I asked the boy to let me talk to his boss but he refused! And that is what we call great after-sales service!
That left me so many questions in mind:
Quick call at DTI Hotline yield no business registered under their name.
They do not offer receipt but they advertise they are a legitimate business. Calling BIR and hopefully get a reward
They can just easily replace the unit and send it back to their supplier. Why can’t they do that? Is the unit smuggled? refurbished? stolen?
And I do not recommend their repair shop: Their LCD replacement costs 3800 BUT at Semicon SM Morth, it costs 2500 only!

Sad for you
Before you confirmed your order did they explain the coverage warranty of the phone? we ordered an e71 1yr service warranty from them last april there sales rep was nice before the confirmation of order she explained that the coverage of the warranty we ordered was free service only and she informed us if we wanted free service, parts and free software upgrade official warranty na unit lang. Since mas mura ang service warranty so we decided to get the service warranty unit only. We confirmed our order 3pm was able to get it at around 8pm in their gilmore office and their delivery guy was nice the phone was demo infront of us and give us enough time to test it. Great service and smooth transaction.

I bought a phone through paypal amounting for 4300 but they charged me 4900 plus (almost 5000) i asked them about it why was I charged for that and they said it’s the paypal fee not them which is a “duh” for me because i am using paypal for a long time and paypal never charges fees foe buyers or if you’ll send money for payments. paypal only charges the sellers or the account who receives the money. its 500.00 difference though it’s ok with me, still not a good experience. they even said it was on the receipt from paypal but the receipt clearly says that the whole amount was only charge to them. i checked their terms when it comes to paypal but it doesnt include the paypal charges. even if it does, If i am not mistaken, the charge is only for around 1%-2% of the total amount which is far from the additional charge they did. in addition they are asking fr credit card copy which is fine and is saying “for your security” cover the last 4 digits which is not secure because if you will pay online using your credit card, only the last 4 digits of the card will be shown and I think paypal receipt or transaction will show that the payment was charge to a credit card and it will cover the numbers except for 4 digits so technically, there’s no security at all.

Ebuystore is a legitimate store nakapag order na din kami sa kanila using paypal nasa checkout page yon mga breakdown nila sa paypal fees. I think if you don’t agree with them we have the right not to proceed with the checkout pero once na natapos yon checkout it means agree na tayo sa terms and conditions nila. CAsh payment nila ay exact naman po kung ano yon nasa site pag paypal iba kasi credit card po yon.

another one pa nga pala,, i too is a phoe lover and also a phone tech,, 2 type of warranty ang binebenta sa mercado ngayon, service at manufacturer, kung gusto mo mas mura mag service ka,, pero parts not included, kung manufacturer 1 year nokia care warranty un,, so sana wag magalit sa binilhan,, dapat alamin muna kung anu ang binibili, and this applies to all of us user/buyer

Ebuystore is legitimate. I aready have 6 transation with them. But lately they are no charging an extra on shipping because Out of coverage area daw ang lugar namin.
I requested for a refund but after 2 weeks, wala parin. I can’t even connect to their phones anymore. Baka blocked na ako or out of business na sila.
Based on receipts that I have, the company name is Easy Telecoms but on their Deposit Accounts is Netrepreneur Trading and Pam Lacson is the Proprietor. TIN: 143-532-194-000 VAT
