Nokia Recycling-Oriented Run Set for December 6

Got an old phone you want to get rid of? To play the corporate social responsibility game and promote its upcoming E-cycling campaign, Nokia Philippines is holding a 3k and 5k run on December 6, Saturday.
Interested parties are requested to “drop your old phones, chargers or accessories of any brand in the bins provided onsite… For every kilo of raw materials collected, Nokia will make a donation to Bantay Kalikasan for the continued rehabilitation of the La Mesa Watershed.” Click on the thumbnail above for more details.
Just a thought though: Was Nokia wise to schedule this event on the same day as the Pacquiao-De la Hoya bout?
