Blogger Attacks PhilHosting.Net Through Plurk

Edward Arevalo has some pretty strong feelings about philhosting.net. Strong enough that’s written about them on micro-blogging site Plurk:

just called philhosting.net. Ang taray ng sumagot ng phone, and they brought out another reason why they can’t respond to my request… naka-ilang e-mail na ako. Simpleng bagay lang, di pa makapag-reply… binabaha ko na nga sila ng complaints and queries, kahit isa, walang response.

No doubt, the online contacts of Edward are eager to follow his lead.

Here’s what some passionate Plurkers have said in response:

*iboycott at ban na yan!♥

tama! apir! let them feel the power of the bloggers..♥

ugh. lipat ka na

tama!♥ is your right na iflood cla coz their service sucks..

So my question is: are the people behind philhosting.net aware of how much relative exposure a dissatisfied customer is getting online?

@jenny, i think we are on the same server, my site has been down for six days now, my issue is that, don’t they have any backup plan or redundancy procedure to prevent a very long downtime? can we file a formal complaint to dti or whatever agency, para maiwasan na itong ganito?

Simple answer to all your problems: Get a better host, one that delivers exactly what you need it to.

You get what you pay for. You get what you pay for.

    Hello,

This is a good news for those customers of registrar OnlineNIC/ Philhosting.net who had problems with previous transfer requests should now be able to transfer their domains to a different registrar if they wish. Please see this article on ICANN (there is already a court ruling dated May 15, 2009) Please see the link below

    http://icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-15may09-en.htm

    Cheers to all

It’s still ongoing and nothing has changed or fixed within Philhosting. One of my readers submitted his story. A published follow up post is found in Philippine Customer Service (http://www.philippinecustomerservice.com)
