Fantastic Contraption is a Really Addicting Game

We almost didn’t publish today’s articles on time because we stayed up playing Fantastic Contraption. The flash game is found, appropriately enough, at addictinggames.com. The objective is to maneuver a pink-colored object towards a particular area in the play area. You do this by setting up wheels that rotate in a particular direction, and rods to connect them and form (what else?) a fantastic contraption.
It’s all very compelling, because it requires a bit of logic and experimentation to get through the various levels. Sometimes your mind will be able to visualize and execute the perfect setup. Or you’ll have to depend on pure trial-and-error to get things done. Even better, once you’ve found a solution, you can save and share it with other players.

This one reminds me of the game, The Incredible Machine. Great find!

What we like about this game is that there are less items to worry about, compared to The Incredible Machine. Great successor to a great concept.
And I hope you manage to get stuff done today!

Just to add, eventhough I’ve been able to solve the levels, I usually feel so inferior to the ingenuity of other people when I see their contraptions.
Now, I just don’t go for the goal, I try to find elegant solutions to the puzzle. This is addicting. Haha!
