Update: Globe Offering “Loyalty Discounts” on the iPhone 3G

Globe called me, apparently i have a loyalty discount and I got offered 16k for the unit. But i still find it expensive since my postpaid plan does not include internet hours and I surf a lot so my monthly bill would definitely blow up, sky high. Come to think of it, i can get a new postpaid plan, say 2199 (which is bundled with internet) and pay only 14k for the unit. Globe rates are ridiculous.
Faced with such apparent dissatisfaction over the iPhone 3G prices, will Globe further reconsider their pricing schemes? Doubtful, since there are less than 5 days remain before the phone’s launch.
