Yahoo! Finance reports that ePerformax is “offering its training facilities for free to individuals who want to be employed in call centers.” ePerformax is a contact center company established through a collaboration between US- and Philippine-based partners. It currently employs 2,000+ employees in Makati and Cebu.

Applicants who successfully apply for the program will provided free food and transportation allowance, with no enrollment fees required. The “intensive nine-week course” will be held at the Global Communications Management Academy, located at the 12th floor of the Pacific Star Building in Makati City.

The course will concentrate on English diction, intonation, and enunciation training. On top of that will be taught how to quickly integrate client specifics such as culture, geography, and other information, according to the report.

Why the free seminar? This is obviously a recruitment strategy, a good way for ePerformax to locate and employ agents with great potential:
