Last May 31, LazerXtreme recently opened on the fourth floor of Market! Market! in Fort Bonifacio, resurrecting an exciting technologically-based war game.

Lazer Tag (or Laser Tag) involves teams or individuals competing against each other in a simulated combat setting. It replaces live ammunition with “guns” that emit infra-red signals; players are clothed in pads that register “hits” when it senses that signals from competitors’ “weapons”.

Megamall used to have a Lazer Tag establishment (whose name we forget). The area closed down many years ago, apparently out of a lack of paying customers. Will LazerXtreme suffer the same fate?

In any case, the establishment’s website has no useful info, save for contact details. There is a referral program though. We’ve contacted the management of LazerXtreme requesting for pricing info, which we’ll share if and when it’s made available.

Thanks to Benj for the tip. Image source: virtualtourist.com
