LG KF750 Secret First Impressions

Update: Our LG KF750 Secret review is now up!
So, we finally got our hands on the reason why LG Mobile Philippines sent us to Singapore in the first place.
The LG KF750 Secret is a thin sliding phone that packs quite a lot in its thin 11.8mm body. LG is marketing this product with an emphasis on its touch-sensitive controls, 5 megapixel camera, and clean design (”Style That Lasts” goes the tagline).
At the very least, LG does a good job of making this phone responsive to user input. Read on to see the specs.
- Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz) and HSDPA (2100 Mhz)
- 102.8mm long, 50.8mm wide, and 11.8mm thick
- Casing composed of “high-grade carbon fiber and tempered glass [claimed to be scratch-resistant] materials”
- 2.4″ QVGA touch-screen that automatically adjusts brightness to lighting conditions
- 5.0 megapixel camera with flash with Macro function and 16x digital zoom
- DivX video recording and playback (VGA resolution); MP4 WMV, H.264, H.264, and RV playback capability
- MP3, AAC, and WMA audio playback capability; FM radio integrated
- TV-Out capability
- Bluetooth 2.0
- microSD slot
- Accelerometer for auto screen rotation and motion-controlled games
The executives from LG asked us how much we would pay for this phone. The 5.0 megapixel camera and portability make this phone a decidedly high-end one for us, within the price range of competitors like Nokia’s Nseries.
We wouldn’t be surprised if this phone costs over P30,000 in the Philippines. This model is LG’s new flagship mobile, with a lack of WiFi its only weak point. In any case, we’ll be following up with more detailed pricing info and our own review, so stay tuned.
Got a price in mind? Let us know in the comments below, and we’ll forward any valid suggestions to the folks at LG Mobile Philippines.
