Just How Much is a Philippine Coin From 1972 Worth?
A thread on tubagbohol.com is auctioning a Philippine Coin reportedly from 1972. Currently, the highest bidder has offered $321 (around P13,400).
The proceeds of the auction will help put “one agriculture student” through college. The noble purpose notwithstanding, just how much is a coin from 1972 worth? There’s even no picture of it posted on the forum thread, yet dozens of people have already placed their bids.
So, assuming everything’s on the up-and-up, and considering the charity involved. How much would you pay for a Philippine coin more than 30 years old? Maybe tubagbohol should announce the auction to “hardcore” coin collectors?
