Have You Tried 8mcdo.com?
If you live in Metro Manila, did you know that you can have food delivered from McDonald’s via 8mcdo.com?
The delivery website, which is named after McDonald’s delivery hotline in the Philippines (8-MCDO or 86236), allows visitors to select items from McDonald’s fast food menu, specify any add-ons, and provide an address for delivery.
Payment is always COD. 8mcdo.com is a great concept. It’s obviously easier to order for food online, rather than over the phone, since it’s easier to track what you’re getting. Still, there are some issues with the website we’d like to call McDonald’s attention to.
Maybe McDonald’s should consider payments via credit card. That would make the website so much more convenient. And, even worse, the fast food chain should resolve the periodic failures of 8mcdo.com. As we write this, we’re currently unable to order online, because the website doesn’t want to accept our order.
McDonald’s should also look into speeding up the deliveries processed via 8mcdo.com. Whenever we order from the site, we receive our food by as much as one hour later, when the Fries are a bit cold and the ice in the drinks have slightly melted.
