We recently featured Blue Proximity, a Linux-only program that uses Bluetooth to automatically lock a computer when the specified Bluetooth device is no longer within range. The coolest and most sci-fi application of this feature is of course, automatically locking your computer when you walk away.
The only problem with Blue Proximity was that it couldn’t work on Mac and PCs. That’s a problem solved somewhat with Blue Lock. Basically, it does what Blue Proximity does, but it runs on a PC. Check it out here.

Not as nice as Blue Proximity. I found it lacks an Unlock which is a big part of the coolness.

As far as we know, Blue Proximity only works with Linux computers. Do you know where we can find any PC or Mac ports?

Hey, do you know that Linux also runs on MACs and PCs?
Maybe what you are trying to say is that Blue Proximity doesn’t run on Windows, but Blue Lock does.

Yes, Linux runs on Macs and PCs. And yes, that’s what we were trying to say. Most Macs run Mac OS, most PCs run Windows.
